I love MacGruber, but I only laughed at one thing in Popstar (the over-the-top TMZ parody) and Hot Rod is good not great.

Popstar was a letdown. Funny but nowhere near Macgruber

 

I love Andy Samberg in Brooklyn Nine Nine, but I'm not much of a fan outside of that.

 

No love for Lonely Island shorts?

 

Not really. They come off as "try hard" to me.

The House is secretly kinda good. Not great or a classic by any means, but it's fucking bonkers and is weirdly violent.

This is a dumb discussion to have. Most of these movies make me laugh and feel better about life. I’m so glad they all exist.

American Psycho is one of my favorite comedies as well.

 

yeah except the Lego Movie which he wasn't the star of, same with Owen Wilson, they were so funny and then people stopped caring about them and it's kinda sad

 

I’ll vouch for this. Love this movie so much. I haven’t seen Step Brothers since high school, but I remember not finding it funny.

 

I loved This Is The End when I was 16

 

I Love You, Man and Role Models is up there for me as well.

 

Also I would make a case for Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I think that movie is flawless.
