She had opinions.

 

Made valid criticisms about how a movie made in the 30’s portrayed women.

 

Existed as a woman of color

 

Her social media and her appearances on Blank Check and the George Lucas Talk Show shows that she has a pretty good humor about herself. It really is insane that there are people out there that hate her, but Disney adults are fucking crazy.

I haven't seen every Spielberg film but it's the worst one I've seen. He has a few bad misses. Ready Player One is down there too.

I have a bunch of his I still need to see, most notably Schindler's List. I've got blind spots for pretty much every great director, sans PTA. That Blank Check podcast would probably help me work through a bunch, but I find the hosts a little insufferable at long stretches.
