Great description. I think about the movie a lot. That, TV Glow, and Megalopolis have not left my head. A good year for movies!

Rap World might not be the funniest thing that Conner has done, but it is the best thing he’s done.

 

It's pretty popular with them. Breaking Bad and Peaky Blinders come up a lot. I usually try to transfer them if they bring up Friends.

 

Are you still teaching at the Juvenile centre?

 

That was a while ago. I moved to a regular high school three years ago. The money difference was too much.

Fender Rumble 800. It has some really interesting digital options and I can use it for my keyboard as well.

 

Very cool what kind of music have you been making?

 

I haven't written an actual song in a long time, but now that I have the ability to play all the instruments I am playing around with music theory ideas that myself and my bandmates would have been too dumb to master 15-20 years ago. I am really embarrassed to think back to what we were making back then; I don't think me and the other guitarist ever even discussed what key we were in and I doubt either of us knew what a key was. What is really fun and mind-opening is looking at some of my old songs, and while as a whole they were never good because I could not sing and I was just singing about girls I liked, every once in a while I had an interesting riff that follows theory.

This summer will be the first time I am completely free since 2019, so I am hoping to actually try recording. I would never release it, though.

does it have a digital output so you can just record in pro tools or whatever?
