Super heroes and myths I get. There are variations of those stories you can do. You can tell different stories. But this is a remake of a single movie that was already remade within the last two decades. Same with that animated Grinch movie. Keep it.

I’d argue all of those weren’t needed either. Solo wasn’t needed. So very few big budget franchise prequels/reboots are worthwhile.

 

All this talk is making me want to watch Fury Road again.

 

Got The New World on Blu-ray for $3 today. Almost got Personal Shopper as well but I shouldn’t be spending too much rn, although $20 was a good deal.

The Brendan Fraser incident is so completely fucked. He has been told by the HFPA that the sexual assault really doesn't count as assault since it was meant to be a joke. What in the actual fuck? But, hey, at least they're sorry!
