I didn’t realize her film career was so bleak

 

that's true of all the Friends people, minus Scream of course

 

She tried her hand at drama a decade ago and absolutely no one cared.

 

Office space and horrible bosses are the only movies I can think of her being in

 

She’s in some rom com with Vince Vaughn I think.

 

i think the only movies i've seen her in are Office Space, Bruce Almighty, and We're the Millers

 

We’re the Millers is good imo

 

it has Kathryn Hahn in it, of course it's good

 

And Nick Offerman!

Marley & Me is culturally significant.

 

It's significant but it sucks

 

I have a soft spot for Marley & Me. It’s mostly a cut by numbers dog movie, but it has moments where it at least tries to explore some deeper themes.

 

Blows my mind that this movie was technically a huge flop. Fantastic movie.

 

Imagine giving Dakota notes on set like "make sure the Pesi logo is facing the camera but do it nonchalant" and then in the editing room "make sure you use the best Pesi takes" and then being shocked at the press when she didnt pretend like they tried to make a good movie.

I wanna say there’s another shorter sequence that also features Dakota Johnson conspicuously failing to open a Pepsi can?

It’s a wonderful background detail in what’s so far the only worthwhile “official” superhero movie of 2024. (But, my goo boys will have their Last Dance soon!)
