So yeah I bought a blu ray last month on Amazon from a third party distributor. I popped it in just now, and apparently it’s region locked?!?

Never heard of this til just now. Amazon is going to be getting a angry phone call in the am. Nowhere did it say this was a possibility.

 

Amazon was the one who suggested I buy from this company btw. It said I could buy it new or pre owned from a third party. Either way I’m getting my money back.

 

I bet they are shaking in their boots

 

Like, I understand you're upset, and you have that right, but please don't take it out on the person you talk to over the phone because there's like a 100% chance it's not their fault and it's honestly not that big of a deal. Just get another one after you get your money back. No need to be angry.

 

Lol I’m not going to be angry I was kidding. I worked retail for 5 years. I know what it’s like to be chewed out by a terrible customer

Regardless the third party company are scumbags, and Amazon shouldn’t deal with them. Not to mention the BR was 4 weeks late

 

Lol, fo sho. I just work in customer service and know how much this sucks ha

 

I mean, Amazon is probably the easiest customer service I’ve ever dealt with. If you just tell them what happened they will 100% give you your money back no questions asked.

 

That’s what I figured

 

It will be interesting to see how radically Amazon changes their customer service once they finally destroy the retail industry. It is not going to be pretty.

Well looks like I’m fucked. This company has a pattern of this I guess

 

Freddy Got Fingered is soooooo underrated. Honestly in my top 5 films of all time. Zero irony.

 

I loved the Tom green show growing up, but never watched FGF. After seeing that I really want to see it now lol

 

I tried watching Freddy Got Fingered with my mother and little brother when it came out; I would have been 14 or so. We didn't finish and I never tried again.
