Not gonna lie I started out not liking it but I’m about 3/4 through and I can’t stop smiling.

Edit:fuck. And now I’m not

 

I like Aquatic more than Darjeeling but both are my bottom two. Everything else is pretty aces.

 

Yea I ended up really liking it.

 

Steve was #1 until Grand Budapest. might still be my favorite Bill Murray character.

 

honeslty, i didn’t know it was gone and was very confused by all this reboot talk.

 

Rushmore still the best

The Royal Tenenbaums
The Grand Budapest Hotel
Rushmore
Bottle Rocket
Fantastic Mr. Fox
The Life Aquatic
The Darjeeling Limited

 

Tenenbaums, Rushmore, and Bottle Rocket are in the “so ingrained in me from when I was 14 I can’t objectively rank them” elite tier.

Fantastic Mr. Fox and Grand Budapest are in the next tier, A+ great movies.

I don’t remember much about Moonrise Kingdom. I saw it once when it came out and honestly felt a “this is too Wes Anderson-y” mindset but I’d like to revisit it.

Then Life Aquatic, which I like a lot, then Darjeeling, which I don’t like much.

 

Tenenbaums is my favorite besides that I can't rank, probably Mr Fox second
the first time I saw Rushmore I hated it it because Max is such an unlikable person but I rewatched it and was able to enjoy it more but I still hate Max

 

I don't think I could do it, I love them all

 

Budapest or Moonrise are top for me

 

I don't really like Tenenbaums or Rushmore, really like Mr Fox and Grand Budapest. Haven't seen any others.

 

Melissa Joan heart has ruined my nostalgia tho. I don't like her at all now and it's hard to look past that and still enjoy her iconic work like Drive Me Crazy

 

Has anyone made the switch from Blu-Ray to 4K? I can’t do it as I just started my Blu-ray collection like two years ago so I’m not ready to make the jump, but I doubt it’s as significant as DVD to Blu-ray, right?

 

IF you have a great 4k TV, the difference is actually kinda astonishing. We have one in the office and it's kinda mindblowing to watch 4K on a 4K TV.

That being said, for my own personal enjoyment, I am sticking to BD & 1080p, it's more than enough for myself.

Go into a Best Buy or something and see if you can notice the difference

 

Damn. I have a 4K tv, but no 4K player. I’ll have to check it out to see if it’s a worth it to me. I think if it is something I’m interested in then I’ll just start buying 4K Blu-Rays from here on out, rather than completely replacing my current collection which sounds very expensive haha

They are also doing some in NY if anyone lives there

 

That better not be Caine's last film
