Giovanni Ribisi is in three of the four movies I have shown to students this year. The man is a chameleon.

 

His best role was Frank Jr. on Friends

 

He was great in Suburbia and I’m pretending the Linklater movie with full frontal Ribisi nudity is the one being shown to students

 

I just hope it isn't Avatar

 

We show Avatar every year to draw parallels with European colonialism.

A lot of times I will watch along with the kids, at least in the morning periods before I have seen it five times, but I pay no attention to Avatar. Selma and Saving Private Ryan were the other films he has been in.

Every time I see Annihilation get mentioned, I somehow think Hollywood did a remake of Mortal Kombat Annihilation. I would KILL for a remake of Mortal Kombat Annihilation.

 

So the American Idol reboot premiere had less viewers than the previous season's premiere, doesn't seem like a good thing

 

I was too busy watching grown men & women toss each other around a wrestling ring to notice Idol.

 

I barely watched the original run but I always thought people were kinda over it by the end and then they barely even let it be dead before they brought it back. Seacrest backlash prob doesn't help. Feels silly to mention Katy's backlash in the same sentence as Ryan's cause they're so incomparable but yeah the negative press prob hurt it a lot

 

all of the above seems true, current drama mixed with it not really being gone
