The most amazing thing to me was that you could get quality food after 9 p.m. in New York. Here you'd have chain pizza, fast food, and Waffle House.

 

Same here. Although chilis and Applebee's stay open pretty late, I think midnight.

Our freaking Dominos started closing at like 9pm though when they used to deliver until 2am

 

Most fast food places here aren’t even open that late anymore. Dominoes and stuff is basically the only thing you can get late at night besides going to Wawa

 

Yeah it's not even worth getting fast food after 10 here these days. Wendy's will have one employee. I waited 45 minutes in their drive thru. There were only three cars.

Only reason I didn't leave was because it was a doordash pickup

 

I don’t really bother with fast food much anymore, but a couple years ago I was waiting like a half hour in the drive thru at Wendy’s every single time no matter what time of day it was. Just wasn’t worth even bothering

 

Fast food is no long fast and it is no longer food.

I tried going to Wendy's today and it made me really, really sick. I will not be returning.

 

On our first NY day we went searching around town talking to cool people to get places to go out at night. We were delighted to hear that everynight goes off. The big city! They didnt tell us at what time. We had dinner at 7 and started the predrinks. Huge mistake. We were blasted by 10 and 3 of our suggested places were completely dead. With no lines the blasting continued at a rapid pace. We stopped by a lively Irish bar with an older crowd and they explained that tis not even 12 yet and to go back later. We went back at 12 and some of the promised people cool where there but informed us this was still just the starter club and they would take us to the real club round 2. 2 came and we were escourted to the real club, it was crazy cool but it was too late. All we could do was watch and try not to pass out on the dirty leather club couch.

2 weeks later at 1am we turned up bone sober to our first LA club, we didnt even finish our first round before they turned on the lights and kicked us out.

 

Yeah but those Wendy's spicy nuggs fucking slap

Too bad their fries have turned to shit over the last few years. Always soggy and flavorless. I miss their sea salt fries from 10+ years ago

 

Maybe I’m crazy but I feel like the spicy nugs were better before they got rid of them and came back

Still slap though lol

 

Asiago Chicken sandwich is my go to at Wendy’s. That and a frosty with fries.

The spicy nuggets are from Burger King are not even edible. I don't like to waste food but it was just too awful.

 

BK sucks and I don't know how they're still in business.

Their chicken fries are flavorless now, usually stale and room temperature whenever I get them. I have been in love with their onion rings since I was a kid though
