I guess I'm partially to blame as I haven't been there in years, since joining A-List (sorry it's just a better deal) but this really sucks.

To be fair, Alamo has had a history of pretty horrible practices. The one here in Kansas City was notoriously bad to its staff and how it was run. Not saying AMC is a beacon of hope and virtue, but Alamo has skated by on being cool while also being secretly terrible for a long time.

 

Not really sad to lose Alamo as much as any place that plays "non Blockbuster" films. But yeah assuming they're as bad as I've heard, good riddance.

 

WB stays stupid as shit. I really don’t think Greta or Margot would do a sequel without the other being involved.

Dude rarely gets Marvel stuff right, besides trailer releases, so idk why people are trusting him with other movie news and even video games now lol

They will fight about the same things: budget, shooting timeliness, release date, and creative control.

They just announced today that this book is being released next year and Lionsgate already greenlit it and has a date. They were frothing at the mouth when Suzanne Collins sent in her final edit lmao

If I lived in New York City I would be at a movie theater every day. They have just an embarrassment of riches.

 

That's how I feel about it's jazz clubs lol although that would be much harder to maintain doing everyday without going broke. But yeah turns out New York is like one of the biggest and best cities in the world pretty crazy

 

Yeah I don't know if I could live in NYC without going to see comedy shows constantly.

 

I would be having a slice of pizza and a hot dog every day.

Our week in NYC everyday was bagels for breakfast, hot dogs for lunch, dinner out, pizza after the club. We attempted do groceries once but midway through tallying the cost we realized It was too expensive and we didn't even know the real price because the tax isn't on the label and went back to the dog guy outside.
