It’s really exaggerated and not accurate unless you work at the most degenerate of corporate slop places. Working service jobs and coming across people who think that movie represents what we do made me insane

 

The rock had a huge fall from grace?

 

It came out when pretty much everyone I knew was working service jobs. It gets some stuff right but only surface level observations anyone can make. Oh, you have to smile on the outside to customers that are being obnoxious? How relatable.

 

Yeah the gross out shit going on in that movie absolutely doesn’t happen front of house at least not the types of places I’ve worked

he’s a life long Republican he should be used to being wrong

 

He took PR hits cause he tried to politic the DCU like it was pro wrestling and while he’s still as bankable a star as there is, the perception on him has cooled. It doesn’t help that, kinda like Ryan Reynolds, any time he talks anywhere it feels like a #sponsored #ad

 

I wonder if his Fast X cameo was filmed before Black Adam bombed or if that was why he came back.

 

My favorite Ryan Reynolds movie is Blade: Trinity

Multi-cam sitcoms are weird because if they were not huge cultural milestone juggernauts they can be easily forgotten about in the culture later, which causes people to think they were not ever popular/successful. I mean Old Christine won JLD her first lead actress Emmy! It was a big show!
