When I think of Ryan Reynolds, I only think of Just Friends

 

I don’t know if the quality of work is always related to someone’s career success or star power.

 

Detective Pikachu and The Adam Project are perfectly fine, moderately-enjoyable movies.

 

I did enjoy Detective Pikachu. I wanted to pet all the Pokémon which is about what I was looking for from “live action” Pokémon

 

How long until he tries to reboot Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place

 

When I think of Ryan Reynolds, I think of Scrubs s2e1.

 

I don’t really have an issue with Ryan Reynolds. As far as I know he isn’t a creep. The only thing I watch that he’s in is welcome to wrexham and he’s not in it that much.

 

I like bullet train but yeah the joke is that brad pitt is the lead because reynolds was too busy to do the movie. he’s in it for literally two seconds

 

So tempted to make a you can't say guy joke but it would cause me pain

Aren’t they doing another Detective Pikachu movie?

The Pokémon looked great in that movie, and two of my favorite 2024 films star a couple of the leads. But, we should try making a Pokémon movie that doesn’t have Ryan Reynolds.

 

Ryan Reynolds was pretty solid playing a straightfaced romantic lead and was great as kind of a mean creep in Adventureland. It’s too bad he’s gonna forever be just snarky Reynolds unless he has a huge fall from grace like The Rock.

 

He’s always Van Wilder to me

 

His Deadpool is the most annoying Reynolds role.

 

I always hated “Van Wilder” and then he made “Waiting” and I somehow hated that more.

 

right, I feel like Reynolds is a benign presence in the industry, seems like a decent enough guy (right now). I haven't really seen a lot of his films since becoming Deadpool, he's been in perhaps way too many things, but Free Guy was a lot of fun. And even before Deadpool he was doing stuff like Paperman.

 

I haven't seen it in 10+ years but Definitely, Maybe was my favorite romcom back in the day

 

I remember loving waiting when it came out and rewatched it a few years ago and yikes!

 

He’s perfect in Adventureland which is a perfect movie.

 

Van Wilder is great

 

Oh yeah. That movie didn’t age well when it came out, let alone 20 years later.

It was really annoying when everyone with a service job talked about how relatable Waiting was.
