I can name 11 of those immediately. One or two others might be people I know but it's hard to tell in the picture.

You don't really see him anymore but I always liked when David Paymer would show up in bit parts. Almost always a lawyer.

I watched Solo for the first time since 2018. Damn I feel bad for Alden Ehrenreich. Dude was the lead in one of the most expensive films ever made, in one of the biggest franchise ever, and 5-6 years later he's playing "unnamed Senate Aide" in Oppenheimer, and the 3rd lead in an upcoming c-tier MCU Disney+ show that is likely to be forgotten about a year later.

I am kinda surprised "Lando fucks droids" didn't become a big meme after this movie. That it didn't is kinda how you know Donald Glover killed it.

If you think his role was just “unnamed senate aide” you should prob watch the movie again

Basing what you’re saying off of the character name on IMDb really undersells his role there. It’s not like he showed up shuffling papers in a senate office

He was a leading man in $250 dollar major franchise film, and then had basically a supporting role that would normally be given to a character actor. The unnamed Senate aide thing was me joking. The point still stands

Always do the right thing. Supporter

Rami Malek had a smaller role and he has more of a career. Alden was the conscience of those scenes with RDJ, I don’t think a significant role in a film like Oppenheimer speaks to his career being on a downward trajectory, Solo sucked and now he’s building back up

Solo only had that big of a budget because they fucked up and had to reshoot like 70% of it. Alden signed up for what was probably supposed to be the cheapest Star Wars movie. So the budget being as high as it was doesn’t really mean anything for what his career should look like now.

The movie bombing also didn’t help him. Even if the general consensus thought he did a good job, all those studios are wary about him now for leading the first Star Wars movie to bomb.

I'm on a staycation currently, and took one day to actually sit on the couch and be lazy. So I decided to spend my time to watch the 2017 classic, SPLIT, by M Night Shyamalan. It was good! Now I think I'll watch GLASS. As how these things go normally now-a-days, I really wish I wouldn't have known the twist at the end. For me not seeing it immediately I guess that's on me.

Geez. That’s awful. I know people clown on him for self-#metoo-ing and “Super Size Me,” but it did temporarily change things in the fast food industry that have now been completely reversed.

He also had a show on FX that was pretty eye opening. There was an episode where him and his wife tried to live on minimum wage that was pretty novel for the time.
