I've luckily not had any issues with MoviePass yet. Seen like 25 movies and it's all been golden.

The movie selection on this flight is so bad. Should I watch The French Connection or the Emoji Movie?

  7. Had my first negative experience with Moviepass, app didn't let me select a showtime to check in, so I'm hoping they'll reimburse me for the ticket. (The showtime I showed up for was sold out, so I had to wait two hours for the next one, but that's another issue.) Ended up really enjoying The Disaster Artist despite never watching The Room from beginning to end or reading the book. Reminds me of La La Land, has that sort of love-letter-to-the-industry kind of deal.

  8. Dang. Moviepass responded within ten minutes. It's after 10pm on the west coast.

I will say that I’ve had MoviePass for a month now, I’ve seen 17 movies with it and only twice have I had any issues: they where having an issue with Regal, I submitted a receipt and they had the $11 back in my account in about two days. They where quick to response and reslove. The second time was a small local two screen theater that doesn’t even give printed stubs, during a major snow storm I went to see a movie and their machine wasn’t working so I had to pay for it and there was no way to get refunded but it’s okay. MoviePass is a godsend for me. Lol.

I ordered my Moviepass a couple of days ago (late christmas gift) and I'm super excited about it. Not just to see movies I wouldn't normally pay ticket price for (I'm very patient with movies and will wait for it to come on tv) but also for the smaller movies playing at the Leammle theaters around. It works at pretty much any theater near me except the Universal City Walk location and that's fine, haha

Idk if this is worth mentioning but I went to see Jumanji today and something with the water caused them to stop the movie and kick us out.. As we were getting our refunds Im pretty damn sure Alan Ruck was in the other line next to me. Im not 100% since I didnt talk to him, but it I was convinced in person and then I got home and found out hes from Cleveland, so maybe he still lives here or is in town to visit family?

Ferris Buellers Day Off is one of my favorite movies ever. so idk. I think its cool.

Also the first 3/5ths of Jumani was pretty solid.

  15. Hey I live five minutes from there. No further info on Cam, though your line of reasoning checks out with me. I think he grew up in Parma maybe?

Nice! Yeah since Ive gotten moviepass that cinemark specifically has become a second home since its the only big chain that seems to get the smaller films like Lady Bird, Three Billboards, Shape of Water, The Disaster Artist, etc... and have them for longer than a day.

And according to Wiki yeah he want to Parma High.

Is there a website that will check if a movie is available on Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime for me? I'm trying to watch as many 2017 releases as I can before deciding on favorites and some buzzed about movies are already streaming. I discovered Columbus by accident on Hulu and watched it. I just want one search to tell me if a movie is available to me through one of those three.

  23. Caleb Landry Jones low key has a pretty solid 2017 resume between Get Out, Twin Peaks, Three Billboards, and The Florida Project.

Literally the only decent part of Three Billboards.

He’s in the super creepy Antiviral from 2012 too. Directed by David Cronenberg’s son.
