Space Jam is pure.

 

I have no idea how comprehensive it is but I tried A Ghost Story and Wonder Wheel and both were correct so I assume their engine is good haha

 

hey A Ghost Story was the first one I tried too! And Finding Dory. Pretty impressive

 

It nailed Jeepers Creepers too. Seems absurd that it's come to this but it might be a legitimately helpful tool!

 

It failed on Good Burger

 

Is it that Nickelodeon creep dude who worked on all the young girl shows?

 

Yeah. Not only was he involved with a lot of the production of these Nick movies/shows, but he acted in some of them too. He played the manager in Good Burger.

I know dude, when I connected the dots I was like WTF!?!? An absolute childhood favorite. Also, I really like his character in the movie, he's super funny.

 

I can't sit through that anymore, and the promise that it is the longest Star Wars movie makes it less appealing.

 

Just watched the jim Carey man on the moon sorta docu.... loved it. Jim Carrey is now my hero

haha yeah ive gotten that reaction too when i said that sentence. I dont know, at some level, i completely understand what Jim was saying and doing. At the very minimum I think he's a very fascinating guy.

I was actually talking to someone last night about Disney's acquisitions. It is terrifying to think of the film landscape in the future as Disney continues to expand its reach and crowds out smaller distributors from theaters and other platforms.

 

Simpsons did it.

 

Why isn't someone going through an compiling all the shit they predicted?

 

Someone else pointed out that it was just a month ago that Disney tried to shut out the L.A. Times for writing negative stories about them. This is the company we are allowing to control more and more studios and our entertainment.

 

It's also the company that routinely fires or loses directors over creative control. This news really bummed me out.

 

On a different note, is there a thread for EOTY movie lists?
