That stained glass windows is one of the best lines for sure. Up there with "I miss them like the majority of modern mainstream music misses an original metaphor for missing someone"

 

Yeah Jigsaw Pieces is just my favourite song by this band overall. especially having lost a grandmother around the time this album dropped, the "it don't seem worth making now" line utterly guts me every damn time.

PS: I grew up with Common Dreads and I will always love it but The Spark is this band's best

My favourite part is the bit about Shinrin-Yoku. So many cool techniques to achieve that sound. You really realise how many layers are in that song too once they break it down.

 

The studio version is coming out in a few months

sweet, this is still their best album imo. "Stop the Clocks" is good but not their best

 

I only just discovered they've played it live more than 60 times lol.

 

I am absolutely chuffed for the namesake tour

 

This album took a while to grow on me, but I'm happy with how they expanded their sound. Probably my fav at this point.
