Flash is defs my least favourite. "Warm Smiles..." and "Stalemate" are the only two I really go back to off that

    Constellations is their best song.

that'd be "An Ode to Lost Jigsaw Pieces", tho

Listened to AFFOC not too long ago and liked Constellations more than I remember. Was really cool seeing that one live a few years ago

I don't dislike any of those albums though, and if I re-listened to AFFOC, I might put it above The Spark. I feel like TTTS has aged badly and it was very much a product of it's time, but I will die before I stop yelling "SCRATCH CARD GLORYYYYYYYY" and some of the songs on that record still go really hard.

  8. I knew this would be controversial haha. Idk why I've never been a fan of the latter. Sssnakepit felt like a regression to the Take To The Skies sound at the time to me, I still love it tho.

  9. For some reason, I feel like Take To The Skies' bsides aged better than most of the album. This still goes off for example.

Also, The Feast! It was a live staple back in the day and I wish they'd occasionally dust it off.

"Kickin' Back" and "Keep It On Ice" are some of the best from that era yeah

aight but let's talk about how that guitar part at 3:05 in "Stop the Clocks" is the best thing I've ever heard

Apparently the new music is a bit rowdier compared to the last album which is good.

Something in between Mindsweep and The Spark would be absolutely incredible

I hope I like this one. Been revisiting Common Dreads recently and it's so good.

rowdy sounds lit but I hope they don't lose the absolutely massive hooks and emotion of The Spark

I really need to revisit The Spark at some point. I want to try and hear what this thread hears lol. Did it take some time to grow for you guys or was it pretty instant?

I thought it was a grower, especially after the Mindsweep. But once the hooks sunk into me I was in love. Still am not a fan of Revolt of the Atoms, but so much of the album is a very very fun time, and has a bit more thematic meat to them than similar sounding music of that ilk.

also seeing them live really helped lol

I have never liked it, but I do think the songs sounded great when they headlined 2000 Trees.

Yea The Spark never truly clicked with me. In my dream they would give an evolution of sorts of Flash Flood of Colour since that's my favorite from them

It took me a while to get into The Spark, I thought it was ok when it came out but I went back to it about 9-10 months later and it really clicked with me. I do think the album tails off a little towards the end though.

    That set was so great*

*at least festival-drunk me thought it was
