See you in hell, or see you when I see you. Prestigious

AFFOC has some bangers (Warm Smiles is still one of their best songs) but also has some of their worst lyrical content lol

    GHANDI MATE REMEMBER GHANDI

Agree to disagree here, I think it's their most ham-fisted. A lot of what I didn't like about AFFOC stems from how forced a lot of the "moments" felt to me

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

yeah "Gandhi" is a truly awful song but at the least it's pretty funny

not spending time with the singles is a crazy choice - "We Can Breathe in Space" and "Rat Race" are absolutely some of their best ever

I know they broke Tribalism out for the last tour and that was mad but I’d flip my lid if they did Thumper at some point

It's not a choice I just didn't even know they had material that wasn't on their albums. I'll need to make a playlist of them.

I haven't thought about this band in years but I'm interested to hear what they sound like now. I was super into Take To The Skies and saw them shortly after that record came out and it was INSANE. The Zone and Common Dreads were good too, don't think I've really listened to anything after that.

Didn’t realize the amount of love for Common Dreads. I felt that it fell flat after how epic TTTS was. FFOC brought the fire back for them and then Mindsweep capitalized on that. Spark was a creative slump with some solid tracks but all in all I’d say Common Dreads and Spark are on the back end for me.

Still think Mindsweep is THE Shikari album but Common Dreads is right there too

Woah! Destabilise is one of their biggest songs (at least it used to be) and Quelle Surprise is one of my favourites by them. Go listen instantly!

Just realised how many b-sides they actually have. And even though I've been a huge fan for over a decade, I haven't listened to Keep It on Ice and Acid Nation. I should change that when I get off work.

The b-sides (did I miss anyone?):

    The Feast
Kicking Back on the Surface of Your Cheek
    Keep It on Ice
    Acid Nation

We Can Breathe in Space, They Just Don't Want Us to Escape
    All Eyes on the Saint
    Tribalism
    Thumper
Insomnia (Is there a studio version of this one?)

    Destabilise
    Quelle Surprise

    The Paddington Frisk
    Radiate
    Rat Race

    Slipshod
    Redshift
    Hoodwinker
    Supercharge

    Stop The Clocks (???)

    DIG IN.

“A Flash Flood of Colour” is my favorite Shikari album, and ‘Thermometers’ and ‘Ghandi’ are my favorite songs on said record and I’m genuinely taken aback that folks have bad things to say about them.
