Enter Shikari - Nothing is True & Everything is Possible (April 17, 2020) Album • Page 19

Discussion in 'Music Forum' started by amorningofsleep, Feb 10, 2020.

  1. Pleasantly surprised by the rarities they dusted off for this livestream. Among the new tracks, I'm glad they played both Marionnettes Parts back to back, as well as Modern Living. Still curious to hear how they pull off T.I.N.A, that's the one song I've been looking forward to see them play since it premiered. It should surely be a crowd pleaser.

T.I.N.A. would be a highlight of any of their sets. They probably choose Rabble or TINA

somehow totally missed Moratorium's release and just discovered it now. some of these acoustic versions are insanely beautiful, wow

I'm excited for it! I wonder if it'll be on an actual release from either band though or if it's just a one off.

excited. this band always brings the absolute goods with their inbetween album singles. Breathe in Space, Destabilise, Rat Race, Hoodwinker and Stop the Clocks are all elite tier Shikari

i truly hate wargasm but i'm always keen to check out new shikari, so keeping an open mind

  12. That's quite an odd one! It's like T.I.N.A meets... Mindless Self Indulgence? The hook has a 00s emo feel and reminds me of Take To The Skies, weirdly.

The verses weren’t selling me but the pre-chorus/chorus are awesome

prechorus sounds like a Charli XCX song lol

Yeah that chorus synth sounds like it's straight out of TTTS. Chorus vocally feels like a mash of The Spark and Nothing is True...

    Dig it!

not in love with this song but I eternally love that I never have any fucking idea what this band are gonna sound like on any given song. they're just so much fun

  17. I'm obsessed with this song already. Even after the initial surprise, I can see it jump to my Top 20. Echoing the comment above, they're so unpredictable that following them still remains exciting... even fifteen years after my introduction to their music, which is wild. I don't get that feeling from many artists.

If this was a sole Enter Shikari song I'd love it but not a fan of Wargasm tbh. Maybe it will grow on me anyway

Another new song out before the end of 2022, new album out next year - likely before their headline slot at Slam Dunk which was also announced today.
