That cover art and those song titles are getting me e-x-c-i-t-e-d! The Spark was a huge letdown for me after The Mindsweep. Glad to hear some heavier sounds again.

Also, Reprise 3 will probably bring the nostalgia!

  6. Built to Fail

    You and I are panoramic

    Best Shikari song in years.

    Such a good chorus too!

This band is so consistently good. I have a feeling this era will pack in a ton of surprises. Their recent fan club is about to get a ton of amazing goodies and I can imagine the packaging and release of this new album will be flavorful and well thought out.

The song is a great blend of everything they’re good at.

  9. Everything about it, the artwork, the song titles... it feels like they're either unleashing their full potential or this is their arty era lol.

This is excellent. It feels like a middle ground between The Mindsweep and The Spark, with the guitar tone and the heavier sound of the former, and the post-punk-y feel and the melodies of the latter.

The verses reminded me of Future Of The Left in all their noise rockiness.

    What a band. Seriously.

  10. It slightly reminds me of The 1975's People too

Okay. This is fucking rad. If this is what The Spark led to, then I am all for it. Fuck yeah.

This is exactly what I wanted. Wish the breakdown had a bit more omf or something, but a great way to kick off the new era. Also, aesthetically focused af too

hoping this is a concept record too

Instead of staring at their Stellas desperately for inspiration, they’re belting up and quivering at their indignation.

Alright alright, I dig that. Will always be hyped for new stuff from them even if I've fallen off a little from them in more recent years.

Nervous about the 15 tracks though

There aren’t many more consistent bands than Enter Shikari for me - as much as they change, I’ve never not fallen in love with a record by them. So this is extremely exciting.

a few of these def sound like interludes/transitional pieces to me. Common Dreads is front-to-back fire so fingers crossed

(also really hoping the Japan bonus track is a non-single-edit of "Stop the Clocks")

this band have the single best use of hand claps in all of music with Sorry You're Not

  24. Apparently the running time is 44 minutes so many of them are going to be interludes, probably the most they've done since Take To The Skies?

Oh this is really great, REALLY great. Verses remind me of Common Dreads whilst the chorus more in line with The Spark
