Yeah Satellites was the one for me I felt they missed a trick by not including. But as you say, they have such a stacked discography and new songs to play, so i don't envy them.
Threw my TTTS vinyl on today and still so happy with how cohesive that album is. I honestly still think it holds up so well and is a post-hardcore Mt Rushmore spot.
Saw them in Sydney tonight. I had a great time but it felt like Rou was a bit off (in vibe). His singing was good but his energy not quite right. It seemed like the guys just weren't clicking like they used to. I really enjoyed the set but a few more songs from The Mindsweep and AFFOC would have been very much appreciated
Does feel like a common theme that Rou isn't as energised as he normally is - its been the same since the first show back in Satans Hollow (which I was at and agree he seemed low key). Hope everything is alright with him.
I was wondering if Rou is a bit depressed about the state of the world and his on stage coping tactic is not to say too much (to avoid saying too much, if you know what i mean).
Also coupled with having to cancel the NA tour because of the visa situation, that probably doesn't help the mood of things
The couple interviews concerning the new album mentioned him going wild in the last stretch of the album making process, pulling pretty much all nighters to get it done on time. Hope he doesn't get burned out
