Poor Rou. His voice gave out right before they started playing a bunch of older, heavier songs one after the other. He tried his best on the last third of the set, like the screams still sounded gnarly, but I felt so bad for him.
I didn't get to watch the end of the show because of other things I had to attend to but I heard him say 'my voice is fucked' before Satellites last night, rough
Remixes and a full compilation record with all material from this era. I'll have a 2 month old at home so I'll have to pass on this tour this time...however that's a great lineup

They’re one of the best live bands I know o, and one of the few I’ll always try to catch. Just straight fun for 90min, and a well rounded discography at this point they can throw plenty of surprises in. Happy they’re doing some bigger venues in the us
They make a 200 cap room seem like an arena. One of the few bands that sound HUGE every time and kill it consistently.
I sadly could not afford a ticket for their DC show, and by some luck and kindness, someone on Reddit had an extra. It was a sign. I had to go. They crushed it tonight in DC! I won’t give away any spoilers, but I truly loved the set and the Shikari System moments (sorry if that’s a spoiler).
Hadn't seen them before but I had a blast when I saw them in Austin, definitely gonna catch them whenever I can now
Just a post to say I saw this show on Tuesday, be fucking jealous Enter Shikari Setlist at The Foundry, Torquay
Absolutely fucking massive live and the perfect main set closer - I remember Rou was visibly nervous ("We're gonna try to play another song we've never done live before") and fucked up the timing of the verses, they had to run it back.
Yeah pretty much a inspiration within the genre for years following that. I remember ordering my CD from Amazon UK not sure if it'd ever arrive and thinking I got a fake because all the interludes were listed as blank on the tracklist.
