“yabba dabba do one son” is maybe the most English lyric I’ve heard. I’m sure I’ve heard that in passing at a pub before. Love it.

 

Actually I think my favorite playful lyric of theirs is “dig deep” at the end of Arguing With Thermometers. It’s a fun double meaning saying we have to try hard to find climate solutions but also poking fun at the oil industry’s need to constantly find new oil sources.

 

That album has a treasure trove of amazing lyrics

 

Sounds more like classic Shikari

 

Going through this album again and I still think it's their weakest but there's some nice gems

I like this about as much as the last album: not a lot at all. hope they rally with the next one

 

I haven't really listened to Fever 333 at all, is it a recurring thing that Jason does a bad Eminem impression or is that just this song?

Pretty forgettable song. The past two times I've listened to it I've forgotten to focus on it/notice it's even playing.

 

It reminds me of Thumper... which one of the few songs from them I don't really like. Kinda feel the same about this. Doesn't really have anything going on other than the cool Refused-y riff, which belonged on a better song.

A bit of a shame considering I remember it being teased back when they were sharing little snippets of the album's recording sessions two years ago.

 

Tonight's Brussels gig is going to be livestreamed in about 4 hours! Footage I've seen from the tour looks unreal so far. It's nice to see them play their biggest venues at the moment and make the most of the upgraded stage setup that goes with that!
