Just checking this out now, what a hilarious and sweet show. Loving it so far. I'm such a fan of Brian Jordan Alvarez and I'm happy this show is delivering on every possible front
For some reason the new ep was streaming at potato quality for me last night. Other than that, incredible once again. Rick killed me. Big ITYSL character energy from him.
Hate the it ended, almost hate even more that I was only 8 episodes. I get that 20+ episode seasons are a big ask anymore but lemme get like 15 or 16
Alvarez said in an interview today that he honestly hopes that this show goes on 20+ seasons like Sunny if they let him.

Oh damn. I thought this show was a goner after the allegations for sure. I feel like maybe a couple years a go it would have been. Maybe this is a vibe shift thing?

This comes back at the end of the month, but with the allegations and BJA not responding to them and just going back to posting jokes online, don’t feel very excited for it.
Not to belabor my previous post, but FX dropped this all at once yesterday. Haven’t heard a thing about it from most of the places that heralded its first season as an instant classic. Truly feels like those allegations and BJA just disappearing and reappearing on social media pretending nothing was wrong sunk the show. A rare moment of accountability by its audience, even if FX renewed it after the allegations (I gotta assume there will be no season 3.)
I will be honest I was working my way through this, was enjoying it, but stopped and lost all interest after the allegations cam out
