This was good but not great. Halfway through Moana right now and I love it a lot more so far

 

Watched this again for the first time since it came out and while the music, characters, and story are great to a certain point, Abuella is emotional abuse Maleficent and gets off way too easily that it ruins the ending. There are so few Disney characters I hate more than her.

 

I agree actually. It makes me mad when she gaslights Maribell immediately after she warns about the cracks, BUT it makes me more mad when her dad and sister help her with the piano playing too.
