Usually will stay away from pre-release closers/openers, but I'm not so highly anticipating this that I needed to avoid. Song is beautiful, those last three minutes are absolutely sublime

I hope to see some shows announced soon. Just gonna throw this suggestion into the universe: A Foxing and Empty Country tour would be dreamy.

will not tell you how but I have heard this and it is fucking incredible. maybe his best record? distinct but also familiar at the same time and definitely feels like a direction Cymbals *could* have taken without sounding quite like any particular Cymbals album. The songwriting throughout is a triumph. can’t wait for everyone to hear it so we can all discuss it.

 

yeah i'm about to listen but i am definitely going to buy it regardless because he could probably use the support

 

i also feel that it may be his best and also is probably my favorite thing I've heard so far this year

 

Listen to the Miss New Buddha record if you haven’t. They’re 1A and 1B for me rn probably.
