in my heart Lenses Alien is a perfect record, love that one so much. it was the first one I heard from them and I spent a lot of time trying to "figure it out," it really rewards close listening. LOSE is probably my go to most often though. I used to not really care for WTAM like at all but I also love that one now. put on pretty years this morning on my drive to class and I really do underrate that one but I just feel like it's not Joe's best performance vocally on a lot of songs

honestly don’t really care for their stuff pre-Lose but those two albums and Aerobed are some of my favorite releases of the decade

 

LOSE is easily the best

 

lenses is just close to my heart because of the lack of adherence to conventional structures & wild af psychedelic lyrics

there's nothing else that makes me feel like it does

 

also WTAM is a perfect pop record, imo. What Dogs See.... gdi

 

I’m thrilled Marian is out in the wild now. It was killing me that no one had heard it! It may be my favorite song this year. I play it on repeat.

 

Looks like they have a show in Philly coming up in a few weeks. Kung Fu Necktie 11/12

 

PS Pretty Years is my favorite album, followed by LOSE.

PPS Aerobed is perfect.

 

Pretty Years is their best record.

not as far as I know. anyone try to get a pre-order refund?

 

They don’t seem to be active at all on social media, which doesn’t inspire confidence that this will ever see the light of day

This just confirms Tiny Engines is done from the looks of things - losing hope about the album ever seeing the light of day is wild when they could just as easily be working behind the scenes on a plan B.
