don’t love the split songs but that might just be mourning CEG. i’ll have to come back to them in a few weeks

Weird to me that this isn’t coming out until early 2020

 

Stereogum says the album is coming in February. I’m assuming that’s from the press release.

 

Dig the songs. Can’t wait for the album, which feels tooooo far away.

Despite my mourning of Cymbals Eat Guitars, I’m excited... such a roller coaster of emotions. Dug Ultrasound immediately, and it didn’t take much before Jets grew on me more.

Tiny Engines hasn't let me down yet and neither has Joe. do we know if anyone else played on the record yet?

 

These are both fantastic, how aren't more people talking about this band?

Singles own. If the record maintains that quality then it seems like something that’ll dominate the site next year

I’m really digging Ultrasound, but have never really listened to any Cymbals Eat Guitars. Does any of their material sound like this?

 

LOSE is probably the most similar to that song, everything they do is great though. My favorites are that and Pretty Years

Can’t go wrong starting with either. I prefer Pretty Years, but LOSE has some absolute gems on there.

Also, check out Aerobed. It was a one off single done as part of Kevin Devine’s Devinyl Split series. It’s a stunner.

Also, Strangepride are totally worth checking out.
