Greatest live act ever, discuss and post live videos!
i wanna see him live so bad!!
also canada day is the best song
so much love can't wait for BWM fest
also as an aspiring physicist / aspiring songwriter his very presence is super inspirational to me haha
Loving Western Teleport. Where do I go next?
then the orlando sentinel
e: admittedly i have not listened to central hug in full (and probably should) but the songs i've heard from it are my favorite emp x songs
The live compilation. Then Orlando Sentinel if you want weird electronic stuff. But the live comp and then picking and choosing your favorite songs from there to go to works for me. Western Teleport is absolutely the best most cohesive most accessible work of his though
Seconding Casey's 19 Live Recordings recommendation. Some truly awesome renditions of his songs on there.
i think i convinced @schlotty to see him on sunday
I fully expect to break down crying if he plays Erica Western Teleport at BWM fest. Seriously one of the best songs ive ever heard.
he'll close with it, don't worry.
He performs it totally differently too
ohhhhhhhh sweet. i am way to excited for that saturday of BWM fest.
yeah it's gonna be awesome, we'll definitely have to meet up
yea man, defiantly!
can't wait to see @schlotty 's reactions tonight, haha
Really wish I could go tonight too.
find a way, trust me, haha.
wish he was coming to the west coast :(
@cwhit youll be happy to know ive been really enjoying Western Teleport lately. thanks for the rec homieeeee.
Watch the live videos yet? Or listen to the live comp?
Also Schlotty sucks and didn't go
i mean ive watched a few live videos, but ive definitely listened to the Western Teleport album the most. i struggle listening to live recordings the same way i do recorded music. dont get me wrong, i love live recordings, but i dno. That being said, i do agree, the live videos are probably even better than the recordings, theyre just inconvenient to listen to on the move.
also, his discography is really confusing to me on his bandcamp page haha. like why is the whole album not streaming on bandcamp? like what is this 1000 year ear worm thing?
Just the way the label chose to do it I guess. He has a ton of random stuff around, sort of a fun little treasure hunt to find it all haha. He buried cassette tapes around the country and posted coordinates, there's a site that has all the found tracks on there
k dude just hook me up with the site so i can get all his music thx friend :)
Saw him perform a few weeks ago for the first time. He was great, but DIY Cincinnati crowds can be so weak and they kind of limited the show's energy.
