IT'S HEREEEEEEEEE

 

First listen through and I’m not certain where i stand on it. Weird, almost frustrating album at times with some very high highlights. It’s simultaneously his biggest-sounding album, but some tracks sound like they weren’t finished all the way. Given that he was tinkering with it up until putting it out an hour ago, that feels likely to have happened lol especially the latter half of ‘Communists in Luxury.’

That said, some of his best stuff is on here. Love the horns throughout. Stars is the best sounding EX song I’ve ever heard, and Rojava Punks rules. Gonna have to sit with this one. I can see the path forward for it to get up there with Oversleepers and Teleport in the god-tier even with some of the issues I have with it.
