This is just, there. I don't think it's as bad as some people are saying, but it's not really memorable. The more introspective songs like Bad Husband are intriguing.
I'm not going to listen to this, but I listened to the Sheeran song right now, and it's got huge hit written all over it, this song is gonna be everywhere in 2018
Ehh, it's more or less the same as MMLP2. Super long with some stand out tracks and some that are awful. You've got the "rock" tracks that are in the vein of Berzerk, the meant-for-radio songs, and the songs that sound like his old work. This is what Eminem is in 2017 because this is what he's been for this entire decade.
I don't listen to much hip hop/rap anymore. Mostly because I'm not a fan of the modern style that's developed in the past decade. Eminem's lyrical ability is still incredible. Can't argue that. I like the new album so far. I don't really see why people aren't liking it.
I like this album, but it starts off pretty bad. It would come off so much better if it just nixed the first 4 tracks and those 2 pointless interludes. Even though I enjoy Believe, the style of that song and Chloraseptic don't blend well with the rest of the album.
I actually think songs like Castle and Arose are the greatest storytelling he's done in over a decade.
I'm enjoying all the responses to this album. I haven't listened yet. Not sure when I will, but at some point I'll do it. But my expectations are lower than rock bottom.
I don't think it's that bad. Skits could get cut and a couple of these are corny AF, but overall it's not a disaster like everyone is reporting
I'm pretty convinced it'll never happen now but I'd actually be genuinely interested in Eminem's 4:44/Life Is Good. Too bad.
