Listen To LL Cool J Interview Eminem For Sirius XM’s ‘The Influence Of Hip-Hop’ “The Influence of Hip-Hop’ aims to bring in in some of the genre’s biggest names to get a transparent look into the songs that meant the most to them and the process that brought forth their favorite tracks.” They also apparently talk about his early rise to fame, his first contact with hip hop and so on.
I believe that when you do a track with the colour beige personified, you can't really diss anyone else. You can just say "he did a song with Ed Sheeran" and there's no comeback.
For a guy that made a career off insulting and making fun of people, he seems particularly sensitive in this instance. MGK made sense, but Earl made a funny joke about your fans and Tyler, who worships you, thought one of your songs was garb? I hope this means he stops using that slur from now on, even if he's decades late to the realization.
The worst part is I know there's gonna be people that are like "smh the old Eminem woulda slapped the shit out of this one for this"
Eminem's interviews that have been posted lately on his site have been quite good talking about this album and all the Tyler and MGK stuff.
Both of them are scrubs making bad music. Did either of them say anything as mean as Pusha T? If not, idc about any of this cornball nonsense
Rap Devil was a better Diss track, definitely harsher. But Eminem’s message was better overall, he definitely held back. And that’s probably a good thing too, cause Eminem just told him how shit is and he doesn’t have to hit harder to be more effective. He put MGK in his place. Loved the biggest flops, greatest hits part. Even that seemed like a compliment to MGK. And the mumble rap lol, which will definitely go down as the crunk music for this decade.
MGK - You became soft. Eminem - You never were. You dissing me, is as famous as you'll ever get. I think Em got em. I just think MGK invoking his daughter was incredibly low.
