Emily the Criminal (John Patton Ford, 2022) Movie

Aubrey Plaza is Emily in Emily the Criminal, a crime drama film written and directed by John Patton Ford. The film also stars Theo Rossi, Megalyn Echikunwoke, and Gina Gershon.

 

Used a day off from work to go see this one this morning. Very good, imo!

Good but that jersey accent sounded more Boston lol

 

Aubrey Plaza was pretty good in this. Also, this movie made me feel extra grateful that I have a job.

 

Decent chance this ends up in my top 5 of the year when the dust settles.

 

Geez this was stressful. Not too many actors I can think of in our generation who are as captivating as Aubrey Plaza is

Watched this last night and thought it was pretty good overall! I usually enjoy anything Aubrey is in though honestly. The suspense during some scenes was perfect and her sense of desperation was definitely felt throughout the movie.

 

I loved this movie. Saw it in a theater a while back

Glad it's on Netflix so more people can check it out

Yeah, Aubrey Plaza is really good in this, but I loved Theo Rossi as well.

This was solid, but the ending felt a little rushed. It’s the rare case where I feel like the movie could have used another 10 or so minutes to flesh things out.
