    I do not exist.

They’re working on it. To be fair to them, the live video seems to be what they’re pushing. It sounds like it’s coming soon though.

I started that live performance, but the lyrics felt a little heavy handed.

Album is fantastic. Some of the best stuff they've done. Can't wait for it to be on streaming services.

First track especially is a banger.

I was lucky enough to hear the “studio” version of this album, and I’m super impressed with how they fixed it up. They’ve cleaned up the drums a ton and they sound incredible, they have added more electric guitars, they have redone all of the acoustics and a lot of the keyboard parts have been remixed, they’ve added a lot of production elements to the vocals and mix of the music, and most importantly they’ve redone all of their vocals which sound awesome. If I heard this version, I would have never known the bones of the record were recorded live. The songs really come to life with lots of energy and a really clear and dynamic master.

For anyone that cares about this sort of thing; they used Spectre mastering for almost all their albums except white line fever, they went back to them for this album and it really shows. I’m really excited for people to hear the final product because I think this is their best work since shallow seas and I think the studio versions of these songs will really bring some people back to the band.

Not sure, I think the version I heard was still gonna have some very minor edits but I would think it would go to knuckle breakers this month at least.

Thanks for the info - this is quite interesting and A LOT more than they implied they were going to do in my opinion. I’m excited to hear this as sounds like it will be a significant variation to what I’ve listened to over the last couple of months!

So I think initially the plan was to not do much, but from what I understand, they kept working on it and wanting to make it better which is why it has taken so long.

I’ll also add they took lovely lady and put it as track 11, almost as an outro or bonus track. which I think really helps the flow of the album.

  9. I relistened to the live version a couple times before Xmas and was still left thinking this is some of their best stuff. It's interesting to find out the studio version is going to be more polished than expected. I feel like it's going to be similar to what Digital Ghost ended up being for Underoath versus Voyeurist. It'll probably going to take some time to get used to the final version after blasting the former so much.

lol what, gonna be weird to hear that upbeat tune after such a heavy hitting closer. is this going to delay the vinyl even more?

Not sure about vinyl.. also they added some ambient noise at the end of stranger so it sort of fades out longer. Helps lovely ladies almost feel like a fun outro more than anything

I would love a proper vinyl pressing of the deluxe edition of The Question.

Also curious to hear this new album as I did not much like their last few full lengths.

curious what you mean about heavy handed. Like religiously?

Definitely not a religious album. The first song, you stole god from me, is pretty much them rejecting a lot of the views of the church. But I don’t see it quite as heavy handed as new Underoath. The close stranger is a really powerful song about Devin being sexually assaulted by his youth pastor.
