WOW NMG has been dethroned eh?

 

not going to sit here and say that this is a better album than NMG bc it isn't but it means more to me that this exists than that one does... if that makes any sense lol.

 

I could name a few more albums released this year that are better than NMG ;) Don't get me wrong tho I do quite like it myself it's in my top ten for the year.

Yeah, that album is great.

 

So my vinyl got delivered this morning, and they sent a parental advisory sticker (a pretty big one), presumably to cover her butt lol. These guys are hilarious.

 

This makes sense. I think you can differentiate between "best" and "favorite". Fully respect this being your AOTY based on it being your favorite.

Also this will end up in my top 10. It's a grower and I've finally given it the time it needed the last couple weeks. Probably my favorite Emery release.

Yep. Although maybe in the new year? I feel like December gets quite busy. The January Anberlin bracket worked so well.

But that might be personal preference - I guess with Christmas music and revisiting albums from the whole year I don’t know how much time I’d get to enjoy a vast back catalogue like this.

I’d still participate if you started now though, just wouldn’t necessarily get as many relistens of each album to properly enjoy the process.

 

I don’t mind waiting until January, I thought now bc the album just came out.

 

Yeah, it would make sense now whilst people are talking about it! Let's see if others are interested and see what happens. I'll participate whenever.
