I think the album overall is good but the screams are the weak point for me. Musically it’s great.

They played one song that I have no idea what album it was from (it wasn’t Shame unfortunately)

 

i have that they only played 3 from eve and the third one was is this real life

 

Surprised nobody else has mentioned this, the screams do sound legit bad.

I’m slowly picking up more favorites from this though. Wouldn’t hate it if they just played it in full.

The only screaming I don’t like is “I’ll see you on the other side” which I’m pretty sure is Matt

 

Yeah, I don’t remember his screams being this bad.

 

His screams sounded the same in the You Were Never Alone demos. I guess this is what he sounds like when they are at their rawest, untouched.

Honestly, the music is fantastic.

I don’t have a strong opinion about the screaming on this record.

The songs are fucking great though.

 

Does Josh do any? Did he ever or was that just live?

 

i thought the Jesus wept screams sound really fragile and like the Other Side ones more. That said 1:20 to 1:35 of JW is a top 2-3 moment on the record.

I had no idea Toby did the screams on the recording until they did the YWNA run on break it down podcast. Always thought it was josh.

 

Yea pretty sure josh just screams live to save Toby’s voice
