New Break It Down with Devin and Toby going over the first two songs on the EP. Got a lot of lyrical input then Matt talked a little bit about the musical side of things. They already did this live on Twitch, but I can't keep up with those haha. I thought it translated well into podcast form.
@teebs41 how is the discord community a few weeks in? I’m still on the fence on whether I jump in and donate or whether I leave it, accept that I’ll miss out on a few songs and just wait a year for the full length.
it's awesome, got to talk to matt about amps for a bit, even shared him something I recorded on my new AC15, which is his primary go to amp. I don't use it all the time but the people are generally friendly and easy to get along with, GOOD VIBES
The production on Eve is great but The Noose honestly sounds like a demo. I hope they polish up these songs before they put together a record next year.
Perhaps the rest of the EP is but this song to me sounds rough. Especially in the first half. Might do the $5/month to support the dudes and listen to the EP then.
Didn't even realize they released a new song on Spotify till now. Matt's guitar on this sounds great.. totally different than Eve though. A bit more stripped back? Iono it's definitely less polished, but I'm intrigued.
The ep is def worth checking out, the noose is probably my least favorite song on it but still solid.
Predictably signed up via Indiegogo. Still think it's a bit too much considering I probably won't use the Discord stuff, but I'll give it a go this year and make a decision on whether it was worth it for Emeryland2 next year. But yeah, two listens so far and the EP is fantastic. Four great songs.
I had a quick look around yesterday evening and I wasn't 100% sure what I was doing. I'll stick to talking to you here for now... but maybe I'll surprise you one day.
Today is the final day to jump on board with Indiegogo as well if you want the discounted Emeryland rates.
Yeah I just looked at the indiegogo and they pasted their goal. I feel like they're the most successful independent band, three albums fully funded now
They mentioned on a recent podcast that they’re doing an Emeryland podcast. You listen to that Teebs. Also, Jesus Christ they are podcasting machines. Haha
