I want to believe Jonny is just joking here, but I really don't know with him. haha He still seems salty with Emarosa (between this and his tweets following the release of Cloud 9).
What the hell is his problem? It'd be one thing if he continued to make substantially good vocals ANYWHERE after DBM2, but I think he's completely out of touch with how much he's fallen off and how good Emarosa is doing since. It's like watching a late 20's baby continue to throw fits.
I really don't know. Someone needs to tell him to stop. Bradley has been super nice and respectful about Jonny stuff (at least from what I've seen), and Jonny just keeps being a bit of an ass.
Dude is just really showing his ass. I don't think he realizes people probably only pay attention for a good laugh. Bradley refuses to speak on the situation, so kudos to him for that. His last two albums with the band blow away any solo/slaves stuff he's done. Edit: The worst part was slaves ripping off the People Like Me.. video.
This is my friend's photo haha... Jonny is still SO damn petty it's unbelievable. You'd think a guy who's been kicked out of as many bands as he has would be over it by now.
I'm looking forward to whatever is next for them. With that other jerk off out, I hope it goes more R&B like Jonnys first solo record. I'm even considering going to their show in my hometown if there's new music
You'd think for a band that has gone out of their way to erase him from their history they'd stop playing his games.
The band mentioned wanting/planning/getting the ball rolling for a 131 Reimagined EP with Aaron Marsh in an interview. That is the best music news ever pretty much.
It's actually like getting the best of both worlds for me. Haha The band mentioned originally wanting to go to Aaron for 131 but he was totally booked.. But I love Casey Bates too much to really have been disappointed either way. But getting a Reimagined with him makes up for it entirely.
Pretty much. I've always thought Jonny was overrated. He's a one trick pony vocally. His band SLAVES sucks too and it seems like his popularity is starting to fade while DGD and Emarosa are putting out their best records to date and their popularity is growing bigger than ever before. No wonder he's salty lol.
I wouldn't call him a one trick pony. Quite a bit of stuff he did up until DBM2 (minus his solo stuff) was above par and impressive. But without somebody writing his lyrics, a band as generic as Slaves, as well as his vocal chords fading, he's got no place to be calling anyone garbage.
He's favoriting plenty of recent tweets about the tour and whatnot so I'd assume he's just being dramatic About that tour, I just realized I never got my ticket. Remedied. 16 bucks is pretty good, I can't get tickets for any band I wanna see for under like 25 anymore
