I must have missed out when the first single released, but Don’t Cry has me incredibly excited for this album. I finally got into the band with 131 so this sound is perfect for me
This record is full of pops - very pop-rock emphasis on pop but Bradley sounds amazing Early favs: Cautious, Hell of It, Help You Out, and Wait Stay
Are there any songs that in your opinion have similarities to the previous two albums with Bradley? And conversely, are there tracks that you feel are TOTAL departures for the band?
There are two that come to mind for sounding the most like previous albums IMO. I don't think it's difficult to draw similarities to Helpless or even Gold Dust on all of it, though. There is one that is super...Seal-esque? Ha.
Help You Out, Hell of It, and Wait, Stay for sure are the closest similarities along with Givin' Up biggest departures are Comfortable, So Bad, IW2DWY you can tell Carly Rae influenced Bradley and the band a ton on this record
Just listened to Don't Cry for the first time; I really hope this album holds up to these 2 songs so far cause they're amazing.
On a positive note, everything Bradley has ever been involved in is good so I wouldn’t be worried too much!
I remember hearing Bradley track vocals for this last year. Nice. This is my favorite of the three singles so far.
I like it. My least favorite of the three so far though. In parts where I feel like Bradley should be doing his thing, he's humble. In parts where I think ER is about to/should have a decent lead, there isn't. I hope they don't oversimplify this album, but the first two released tracks are amazing and I still think it's gonna be a great release.
Cautious is SO GOOD. This song has been on nonstop play for me and even if I don’t like the rest of the record - I will still be glad I preordered the vinyl for this track alone.
Clips of every song on the album floating around the internet. The 2 last tracks sound absolutely gorgeous
