I know this band isn't the most recognizable around these parts, but I've always been a fan. Their first two albums were great melodic post-hardcore, and Versus, their first record with Bradley Walden on lead vocals, really took them to the next level by tightening their songwriting and focusing more on alternative rock, abandoning a lot of their "scene" roots. I've had the chance to meet Bradley and he's one of the most down to earth guys in that music scene. The band recently left Rise Records and finished a new album with Casey Bates behind the boards... safe to say, I'm very excited to see where they go next!
I'll check out their new album. Still way more about their generic EP than anything else they've done though, ha. I love like half of Relativity too.
Rediscovered this band the other day. Versus is fire. Really excited for the new one, especially with Bates producing.
I went back and listened to Versus the other day, and I actually liked it a lot more than I remembered. Even more into the idea of the new album
They seem to be gearing up for an album announcement soon... Bradley tweeted about the guests on the album and the band updated their site.
I for one am very excited for an Emarosa album that features Jason Vena, Sean from Yellowcard, and the bassist of Matchbook Romance!
