Not what I expected from a first single

 

This song is incredible

 

Guess it doesn't feel like it's been four years since the last one but hell yeah. Also I think the last Coma Cinema record is his best work.

 

agreed that Lost Memory is his best album but if the rest of the album is as good as this single it’ll definitely take that spot for me

 

Posthumous Release is his best imo, like by a lot.


But yeah this single is incredible and I can’t wait for this record.

There's tweets from Sam Ray, Kitty, and his drummer from the last Elvis Depressedly tour describing him as a general shitty person and saying not to support him anymore. I had heard through the grapevine he was a shitty person so it's not incredibly shocking, but it definitely is disappointing.

 

I met him at a show in St.Paul and I didn’t get the vibes that are posted on Twitter. I’ve been in recovery for 7 1/2 years and my outlook has changed and come full circle. Usually with in 30 seconds I can tell if this is someone I would hang with. Matt seemed reserved but humble. I have a past that has plenty of legal trouble and I stoked, lied, and manipulated everyone in my life. I’m super open and he was with me for the brief period we talked. Openly talking on any social media about someone regardless I can’t be down with. The one thing I’ve learned and I used to do this on a daily basis was judge others. What I’ve found is that what others are saying usually plays into what they are also doing. It’s easy to point the finger. I’m not openly saying Mathew is the best version of himself he can be, but we are all trying to do better. I know on a podcast he talked about substance abuse also and no matter what we must be responsible, but I’m the last person that is going to judge someone on social media with my own demons.

Reading thru mats response, This whole situation is awful and none of it should have to be done through the public eye.

its nice to see hes taking the steps needed for bettering his mental health and dealing with his addictions.

 

Very happy he's getting himself straightened out.

I was interested to hear this album, but I guess we'll be waiting awhile. That's alright though, plenty of music out.

Yeah I really liked this on first listen. Definitely up there as one of his best records.
