It is kind of cruel to make 90 year olds sit through the nonsense of a Luhrmann film.

This movie looks really really bad.

 

I very much enjoy Baz Luhrmann for what he is and have seen all his movies, so I'll definitely give this a go. But I want to know what blackmail he has on Tom Hanks to talk him into that garish '90s fat suit.

 

I know everyone would rather just be bitchy and assume the worst in everyone, but Vernon’s assessment (with actual historical documentation) is much more nuanced.

 

After Walk Hard I don't know why anyone even bothers anymore. Walk Hard even managed to make fun of the Brian Wilson movie with Paul Dano even though it came out a few years earlier.
