Had no idea this was out, excited to listen tonight! Copia is one of my go-to albums when I can’t sleep.

 

My record just arrived! Think I’m gonna light a candle, drink some wine, and get relaxed as fuck with it.

 

This somehow sounds even warmer on vinyl.

I’m really happy this album exists. Eluvium never lets me down.

 

I get some serious Tree of Life vibes from Myriad Days and I love it.

 

So this was truly magical:

Last night, I smoked, lit a candle, put one of those dumb virtual fireplaces on the TV, poured a glass of wine and sat down with dinner and played this record.

10/10, would recommend.

 

Will be doing this tonight sans the wine, can’t wait

 

the Accidental re-recordings are technically bonus tracks, right?

 

Yes, even though the iTunes Store wants people to believe otherwise so they can charge $16 lol.

Also I noticed this morning that there’s a secret track on Side D of the vinyl!

I haven’t listened to the reworked tracks yet, but I probably should.

 

they’re v good but the original ones are more raw & better IMO

I like how you can tell he “wasn’t good at piano” when he recorded the original ones ‘ it has a v unique vibe because of that

 

I wish I had a piano so I could actually put the sheet music to good use. I might frame it or something instead.

 

I tried learning the Accidental ones a couple of years ago - it’s doable

just get a cheap Casio

 

That is very tempting.

 

I have this on at work and a customer just asked me to write down the name of the artist! I am happy.
