didn't love it but sounded better to me than the garbo singles she's been putting out for the last year+
Brightest Blue: “Brightest Blue”: 01 Start [ft. serpentwithfeet] 02 Power 03 How Deep Is Too Deep 04 Cyan 05 Love I’m Given 06 New Heights 07 Ode to Myself 08 Woman 09 Tides 10 Wine Drunk 11 Bleach 12 Flux 12 Brightest Blue “EG.0”: 01 Overture 02 Worry About Me [ft. blackbear] 03 Slow Grenade [ft. Lauv] 04 Close to Me (with Diplo) [ft. Swae Lee] 05 Hate Me (with Juice WRLD)
I'm already thinking about how I am going to have this look in my library, I think EG.0 will be it's own EP aside from the main album, which is also how she is presenting it. But basically not having it be part of "Brightest Blue" at all
yeah it's definitely weird that it's the only single that didn't make it anywhere here, but I'm not entirely bummed about it
another step in the weird rollout, the next single is the last of the EG.0 songs, instead of something from the main album, presumably because it's a collab again
The label must REALLY not like the direction she wanted to take on Brightest Blue proper. Really, really piques my curiosity. I requested an advance from the label to do a review for here, but I'm guessing the silence is a rejection.
