Enjoyed this overall on first listen

 

Yeah I quite enjoyed it too. Not quite as interesting as her first two but it's nice to like an Ellie Goulding album again after being really disappointed by her last two.

 

Looks like Ellie came out during Coachella’s set for Miracle last night, but not I Need Your Love or Outside which were also played. Weird.

 

Also just personally find it surprising that Calvin has played Coachella so many times but never has done a set with a bunch of guest stars. I feel like he could put on a huge set with a ton of guests but just does basically the same set every time. I saw him the last two times around and it felt like the exact same show

 

This is almost exactly what the review of the set I read said. “Where’s Rihanna? Where’s Dua Lipa? Where’s Florence Welch?”

 

I've grown to kinda love this. "Midnight Dreams" and "By the End of the Night" in particular are two of my favourite songs of hers.

Just saw one of her TikToks where it seems like we’re getting a new album soon and she already has turned her back on this album and wants to pretend it doesn’t exist. Which. I haven’t listened since the week it came out really so I kinda get it.

 

Do you have a link to it? I had a quick look and couldn't see anything.

I think this is easily her best work since Halcyon and it has me actually excited for her next album for the first time in a while.

Lame, it was her best since Halcyon for me as well. She’s been hit or miss for so long I’m not sure what to expect from the new stuff. Just hope that it’s nothing like EG.0.

 

Yeah this album was so good, even all the bonus tracks were catchy. I listened to it far more and a lot longer than blue
