I know it's not all on her, but this rollout has been one of the strangest in recent memory. releasing the Calvin collab, then the video today, in the middle of album promo while it's not on the album is certainly a choice
Actually really enjoying this so far. Only on Like a Saviour, but it's making the strongest first impression since Halcyon for sure.
On first listen, I had a lot of fun with it, but it doesn't make me as happy as Delirium did for the same sort of style from her. Quite a few here will definitely grow on me.
It's okay. Not much stands out, Love Goes On Aside, because the whole thing blends together so much. She used to have a knack for memorable hooks and melodies but she sounds a bit neutered this time.
The Calvin collab is #1 on the UK charts today, wonder if that'll help this album much, despite not being on it
they'll probably tack it on here in a few days to boost streams/sales. she's done it with other albums of hers.
I think if they would/could, it would have been on release date. No reason to do it a few days after for this case. My guess is label restrictions aren't allowing it on her album
Sony (Calvin) most likely doesn't want Universal (Ellie) to get any revenue from their smash hit song
i guess that makes sense. just odd that she was allowed to place their other 2 collabs on Halcyon and Delirium but not Miracle.
