Hate to vote against Mulholland Drive after all that but glad it made it this far when it had to face films that were far more popular and conventional, and I think at least a small portion of the votes against it were from people who hadn’t seen it

This is way harder than it should be for me lol. I absolutely love Mulholland Dr but The Godfather is a perfect film. As excellent as Mulholland Dr is I’m not sure it hits every single note the way The Godfather does.

I'm sad Mulholland Drive has to go but I'd much rather it lose to The Godfather than Jaws lol.
