I can't stop listening to this. An Eisley/Anthony Green collaboration never occurred to me until now and it's perfect. I can see this being my favorite Eisley record yet based on the songs released and this is coming from someone who'd always preferred Stacy's vocals to Sherri's.
they fell short. by like 25k i think. they needed to rent a bus big enough/safe enough to travel with all their kids. the tiers/options didn't even have great perks and worst of all they didn't even come with a ticket to any show!! which is something most people were criticizing them for
I think the kickstarter was certainly misguided, or at least carried out in the wrong way. That being said, the band losing most of it's members so they can be with their family does prove that it was a necessity in their lives for the band to continue.
New album is streaming online here: Eisley Are Still Only Dreaming Edit: I am absolutely loving this album.
im seeing them friday. the singles released thus far definitely seem more rock oriented and im about it.
It's weird to hear Max on normal production again, but it sounds great Gonna listen to the rest of the album now
A few things. -The haunting harmonies between Sherri/Stacy/Chauntelle are really missing, and that's a real shame. On the plus side, Sherri uses her lower register where Stacy normally filled that void. She's also reaching soaring highs (Snowfall) and it's awesome. -Rabbit Hole is beautiful. -Louder Than a Lion doesn't fit on this album at all, at least I don't think so. Actually, why not have Max on a track? I'd rank this album right behind Currents, with Room Noises being in the lead. I'm glad Sherri stuck it out and kept Eisley going, but I'm also curious what Stacy and Chauntelle are up to.
Wow, ok. For some reason I didn't hear that song? I don't know what happened. Heard it, good song. Pretty upbeat for Eisley which is nice. Boy oh boy is Max's voice run through some filters here.
