I'm confused. Is it based on her book Eileen, whose premise actually matches the synopsis of this movie, or is it based on My Year of Rest & Relaxation like the tweet/x/whatever says? In any case, Ottessa rules and if it's anything like the book Eileen I'm excited for people's reactions, lol.

 

huh? the movie eileen is based on the book eileen, not the other book by the author...

was planning to see this Saturday but looks like some AMC's have pulled this off the schedule entirely? saw a couple of reddit posts about it

I thought it was just alright. I dug the atmosphere and mood but the story was a little slow going and didn't really come together as much as I would have hoped.

 

This was fine, felt pretty half baked to me. I usually don’t mind open ended endings but this felt like a little bit of a cop out. Bummer
