Not a bad little album, this

 

I feel about this one about the same way I have his last couple releases. I enjoyed it but don’t see it having a lot of lasting power past a couple listens.

At this point I feel like this is the kind of album E can crank out in his sleep. He seems to have really fallen into a formula lately and doesn’t stray from it much. He also still results to some of the lazy writing that has been common with him the past couple years, for example the first track “boo do do do it’s true”, or on Earth To Dora “do do do do, ba ba ba ba”.

 

Yeah, I think that sums up how I feel about it too. It’s good, no doubt. But can’t see it getting repeat listens like his older stuff does.

Kinda how I feel about Beck too.
